Well that was a fun year.

2020 was an absolute tyre fire from start to finish but lets look forward at the new year ahead of us.

I mentioned in my first ever post on this site that there were a bunch of small businesses started by my friends that really inspired me, and I think 2021 is the perfect time to shine a light on these businesses so you can follow and support them this year!

Matola Makes

They make : Homemade earrings

You can find them at : https://www.instagram.com/matola.makes/

Matola Makes is my very talented friend Rebecca Longhurst’s business and makes some of the coolest earrings which are perfect for people looking for a unique accessory.

Another awesome thing about Matola Makes is their commitment to environmental friendliness, with all of their packaging being made from recycled materials.

They also have free postage for all UK orders and have the ability to take commissions as well!

Make sure you DM them to get your pair!

Blacksmith London

They make : Premium quality, unisex jewellery brand that offers lifetime durability

You can find them at : https://www.blacksmithlondon.com/

Blacksmith London is the amazing business that my friend Danny Naqvi has created.

They sell high quality unisex jewellery, currently covering necklaces and bracelets.

Perfect for the fashion conscious, they currently have a sale on so there has never been a better time to pick up some of their products and start raking in the compliments like I have been.

The Shed

They will be selling : Vintage clothing

You can find them at : https://www.instagram.com/official_theshed/

The Shed is a business started by my very close friends Ben Dye and Shez Gill during the first nationwide lockdown. They don’t have a website yet but are gathering inventory to begin selling in 2021.

When Covid finally ends and we are all allowed to go back to the pub, you are going to want to distract from your now complete lack of social skills with a sick outfit, and The Shed are going to be the ones to provide it for you.

They also let me put a picture of Patrick Stewart on their Instagram which was fun.

Fitseekr

They make : Top quality work out gear

You can find them at : https://fitseekr.co.uk/

“Everyday you've got a choice to make. Remain as you are, or chase your dreams. So which is it going to be?”

Those are the words of a man who knows how to copywrite! Fitseekr is my friend Mark Pulle’s brand new brand, focusing on building a community of people who encourage, motivate and develop one another on their fitness journey.

If you want to redefine your workouts in style this year, make sure you pick up some of their high quality, stylish products.

And those are just some of the businesses that I think are really worthy of your support in 2021.

I’m going to be doing a few more of these throughout the year so keep an eye out, and if you think I have missed someone, make sure you drop me a message or fill out the feedback form and I will make sure to include them in the near future!
